My story

This gorgeous Shepherd mix is Twyla! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 5/17, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Twyla is now keeping her paws crossed for a new, forever home where she will be loved and kept safe so that she never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Twyla as friendly, attentive, and athletic. Shepherds are working breeds, so she needs an active family who can keep her physically and mentally stimulated. Twyla is approximately 3 years old and weighs 39 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. She is spayed and will be microchipped adoption. Please come meet Twyla in run 82; her ID # is 10049. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
