My story

FeLV+  Gleam – Tiny Gourmet, Shoulder Explorer, Certified Princess. Meet Gleam, the smallest of her siblings, but don’t let that fool you—this kitten reigns supreme in sweetness, style, and snack selectiveness. With a heart as big as her eyes and a face cute enough to stop traffic, Gleam is the kind of girl who turns every lap into a throne and every shoulder into a runway. She eats like a miniature aristocrat: a dab of pâté, a swirl of chicken shreds, and a gentle spooning of seafood mousse—thank you very much. She's a slow, deliberate eater because, obviously, royalty does not rush. When she’s not curled up on your chest like a warm purring brooch, Gleam is climbing, playing, or dramatically gazing out from the screened porch like a Victorian heroine waiting for her beloved (or maybe just a squirrel). She's agile, dainty, and fiercely graceful—like a ballerina with a mischief streak. Gleam was raised alongside a bunny, a chihuahua, and two dramatic brothers (Glisten and Glow), so she’s perfectly socialized and totally used to nonsense. She’ll likely stay petite like her mom, which only amplifies her “small but mighty” energy. If you're ready to be adored by a snack-size cuddlebug who treats every cuddle like a royal audience—Gleam awaits. DOB 3/25/2025 **This cat is currently in a foster home, arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.** One of the biggest misconceptions about feline leukemia, which suppresses a cat’s immune system, is that it is an automatic death sentence. There are many variables, however, that come into play that determine how FeLV will affect a particular cat.  To learn more about this condition visit:  https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/feline-leukemia-felv-faqsMay 28, 2025, 5:42 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gleam, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
