My story

Meet Moongk, a charming 3-year-old neutered male Jindo mix with a beautiful brown and white coat. Weighing 12kg and standing about 40cm tall at the shoulder.   Moongk is incredibly affectionate with everyone he meets. Whether it’s a familiar face or someone completely new, he’ll happily trot over for pets and cuddles, even leaning in for a good snuggle. He’s wonderful with children under 13 and is totally comfortable being picked up with an arm under his belly. He’s not shy in the slightest—he just loves people, plain and simple.   He’s equally sociable with other dogs. Moongk enjoys greeting both familiar and unfamiliar pups, and he gets along with most of them, especially those around his own size. If another dog isn’t interested in playing, he’ll give them space, but when the vibe is right, he’s happy to romp and run around. At the dog park, he can play for over two hours straight! Even when faced with a more dominant dog, Moongk chooses to walk away rather than react.   Moongk has also lived briefly in a foster home with cats and he was curious but friendly toward them. On walks, he’ll watch cats with interest, but easily follows your lead when gently redirected.   With his high energy level, Moongk thrives on outdoor activity. He absolutely loves toys—especially ball games—and he’s a big fan of nose-work toys too. If left alone, give him some puzzle toys and he’ll keep himself entertained until he’s ready for a nap.   He walks well on a leash, although he may pull slightly at the beginning because he’s excited to explore. He isn’t bothered by noise or busy surroundings, and he strolls with confidence—though he’s still a little wary of people carrying umbrellas on rainy days.   Moongk doesn’t guard food, whether it’s from people or other dogs, and he handles alone time very well—no separation anxiety here. He rarely barks, prefers doing his business outside, and while he’s not thrilled about baths, he’ll tolerate them with some funny little grumbles.   Moongk was found wandering on the street in November 2024, wearing a black collar.
