My story

Scat Cat starts shy, but not for long. She is a mature and confident cat with a lot of love to give.  Recently an amazing mother to three, Scat Cat is now ready for her forever home where she can sunbathe on window sills and get lots of lap love.  She may find a box or small space to hide when you first bring her home but then she will surprise you with rubbing up against your legs and approaching you with her purrs. Scat Cat will be available for adoption as soon as Friday, 5/16 so apply to adopt to be the first to meet her.  All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.           All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
