There are some dogs who leave an imprint in your heart forever, and that was Miss Rosie for me! First off Rosie has striking amber eyes with a beautiful red/copper/brown coat. She is incredibly loving and makes you feel like nothing else matters because her affection towards you makes all of the problems of the world melt away. She loves kids, dogs, and cats! Rosie simply is amazing! We believe that Rosie is some sort of pittie mix and is about 2 years old. She is a petite princess who weighs approximately 39 pounds and will stay a smaller medium size forever! Due to Rosie being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But with a heart like hers, the only thing you will care about is how quickly you can get her into your home! Fall in love with Rosie here! https://youtu.be/Zzv7Dx2x6IM I truly believe Rosie’s visit with us was like a doggy’s dream come true to her! From the dog interactions, to the kid cuddles, to the cat introductions, Rosie was soaking in it all! Rosie did great meeting our puppy pals on leash! She was a bit timid at first when all of the resident pups came to say hello. But she quickly became fond of our friend Camo, who is a larger confident and playful male. Rosie, Camo, and some of the other pups were all together running across the yard over and over! She was having the time of her life! Due to this behavior, we believe that Rosie would do well in a home with confident, medium energy male to spend her days with. When Rosie met Blaze and Xen (9), she couldn’t contain her excitement! She was soooo happy to give all of her love and have it reciprocated. Tons of time was spent doting on Rosie with treats, belly rubs, and scratchies. She is going to be an AWESOME family pet! Due to her passionate affection, we believe that she will do well in a home with older kids who can appreciate her excitement to be around them. When Rosie met our housecat Biggie, she was cautiously curious with her tail wagging away! She extended lots of sniffs and a couple of licks! Biggie even swatted at her saying she was getting too up close and personal and she just accepted the correction and walked away. Due to this, we consider her to be cat tolerant and would do well in a home that has dog savvy cats that don;t mind canine curiosity from time to time. Rosie currently goes on lots of walks with her foster and is practicing her leash skills. She will be a great companion to explore parks and cool places with. She will make an excellent addition to the family and will absolutely love the people who extend a loving hand to her. If Rosie sounds like your newest family member, apply for her today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6831d21890868c7858042728 Questions?
