Surrendered to the rescue with his sister Amethyst, Plum was one of the last kittens of his litter left after the rest were rehomed—but we’re confident his perfect match is just around the corner. This sleek, black beauty has the soul of a teddy bear and the heart of a lap cat. From the moment you pet him, the purring starts—he’s a social butterfly who thrives on love and connection. Whether he’s curled up in your lap, snoozing beside you, or perched on your shoulder like a little parrot, Plum is happiest when he’s close to his humans. Plum gets along wonderfully with other cats, having lived in multi-cat households both before and during his time in foster care. His sweet, gentle nature helps him blend right in. With his striking looks—faint tabby stripes visible on his sleek black coat, large paws, and a bold little muzzle—Plum has the air of a miniature panther. But don’t be fooled by his wildcat appearance—he’s 100% snuggle bug! He even enjoys belly rubs when he’s in cuddle mode and isn’t shy about using his voice when he’s ready for food or attention. Plum would like to be adopted with his sister Amethyst so they can wrestle and play all day. He isn’t bothered by noise so would be fine in both a busier or quiet home. Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company
