My story

“Never give up, and good luck will find you.”- Falkore, The Neverending Story Otto (who used to go by the name Falkore) is a friendly senior husky who sort of resembles the luckdragon from The Neverending Story that he was originally named after. In the move, Falkore was wise, incredibly optimistic, dignified and friendly. Well, that describes our Otto exactly too! Here’s what one volunteer said about him:“I gave Otto a bath due to his poor coat condition. He needed a little encouragement to get into the shower of the grooming room. He was patient and a real trooper the entire time. Once finished, we went for a walk around the pond. Despite having to endure a shower, Otto was the friendliest guy! He takes treats very gently and is very easy to walk.”Otto has Inflammatory Bowel Disease and needs a patient foster home willing to work with dietary medications and restrictions. He has been social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Otto is hopeful that if he never gives up believing, he’ll be lucky enough to find a home of his own!!
