My story

Hi there! My name is Purdy and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 1 year 9 month old female, Domestic Shorthair who came to SB Humane in search of a new caring home. I’m a mama cat, sweet and strong, I’ve cared for babies, now it’s my turn to belong. I’m vocal, I’m loving, I’ve got so much to share, And I’ll follow you ’round—because I truly care. I love my food, I love my treats, And cuddles with you are the best kind of sweets. I’ll purr in your lap and nuzzle so near, Because all I want is love, and I’m happy you’re here. So if you need a friend who’s ready to play, To brighten your life in every way, I’m waiting for you with a heart so true— I just need a family to love me through and through. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
