My story

Java is a stunning young female Husky with a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes. She was recently surrendered through no fault of her own—her previous family sadly had to let her go due to landlord restrictions. Now she`s looking for a fresh start with someone who can give her the love and adventure she craves.Java is shy at first, especially in the noisy kennel environment, which causes her some stress. But give her a little time and patience, and she’ll blossom into a playful, affectionate companion who absolutely melts into your attention—seriously, this girl is off-the-charts sweet once she warms up.She’s best suited for a home with kids 12 and up, just because of her energy level and initial shyness. A meet-and-greet with any potential dog siblings is recommended, but she’s shown potential to get along well with others.Java is smart, eager to please (she already sits on command!), and would benefit from a training class to help polish her leash manners—right now, she’s a bit of a handful on walks but has so much potential with consistent guidance. One thing she’s made very clear: going back to her kennel is not her favorite. She’s ready for a real home, with daily walks, cuddles, and a soft bed to curl up on.Are you ready to help Java write her next chapter? She’s waiting for you! ??

If you have any questions or would like to adopt JAVA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
