Meet Opal! This 4-month-old little lady had a rough start to life. She was found abandoned in a parking lot in the middle of a thunderstorm. Despite being malnourished with tummy troubles and clearly not feeling her best, she was immediately friendly with her rescuers. She came right up and allowed herself to be picked up - no chasing needed! She shows her gratitude with her non-stop purring, which has been present every day throughout her healing process... even with the yucky medications! Through every vet visit, nail trim, and dose of medicine, her sweet spirit has never wavered. She has taken everything in stride. She will happily carry on a conversation with her people or herself - she is content either way, walking around trilling and purring to anyone who will listen. She is also a pro at air biscuits! Her favorite place is with her people. She wants to be in your lap or, at the very least, snuggled up beside you - anywhere, as long as she is touching you! When not cuddling, her next favorite thing is being a playful kitten. She loves her catnip pickle and will chase a feather toy with boundless kitten energy. While she hasn't met the resident cats yet, she is super curious and shows no fear or reaction through the door. She even reaches her little paws under the door to say hello! She also seems to be completely unconcerned with dogs, letting a crazy Havanese lick her face without complaint (if you knew the Havanese, this is far more impressive than you may think). If you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts cuddler and entertainer, Miss Opal is the precious gem for you.
