My story

Meet Felicity! This 10-month-old retriever mix is pure sunshine on four legs, with enough wiggles and wags to brighten even the cloudiest day. Felicity found her way to HSSM on May 21st after being picked up as a stray in Gulfport — and she hasn’t stopped dancing since! Known around the shelter for her award-winning happy dance (featuring the cutest little tippy taps you’ve ever seen), Felicity is a joyful bundle of energy. She announces her excitement with the sweetest squeals and showers everyone she meets with endless kisses. Whether it’s toys, treats, belly rubs, or a nap in a sunny spot, Felicity finds happiness in all of life’s little pleasures. Felicity is a social butterfly who would love a canine companion to share adventures with and a human best friend who doesn’t mind a lap dog every now and then. She’s a go-with-the-flow gal with a big heart, lots of love to give, and just the right amount of goofy to keep you laughing. She’s up to date on all her vaccines, will be spayed upon adoption if not already, and — drumroll please — she’s heartworm negative! If you’re looking for a best friend who will love you unconditionally and keep you smiling with her happy-go-lucky spirit, Felicity is ready to wiggle her way right into your home and heart.
