My story

Meet Gambit, a sweet boy- Bonded with his equally sweet brother Billy Kaplan. Gambit does have some vision challenges, you’d never guess it by how he zips around with joyful energy, especially when spring toys are involved — his absolute favorite! But what truly makes Gambit shine is his obsession with his cat wheel. Like a tiny, determined orange hamster, he runs with pure delight, and it’s clear: this wheel must come with him to his forever home. It’s not just a toy — it’s his happy place. Gambit came from a home that had simply become overwhelmed, but despite the chaos of his past, he’s incredibly well-adjusted. He’s lived alongside all kinds of animals and takes it all in stride — making him a great fit for just about any loving home. Ask any staff member, and they’ll quietly admit: Gambit is a favorite (but shhh… don’t tell the others). He’s playful, affectionate, resilient, and completely irresistible.
