My story

The home Bonnie came from had to keep her kenneled for many hours. They wanted her to have a home where she can have space to run and play. From her prior owners: ` She loves belly rubs, she loves her dog food just as much as (if not more than) treats and is definitely food motivated, she spins in circles frequently, she will benefit from some place with lots of land to get her energy out, she needs lots of time and attention, she loves snow, she`s used to being with one other big dog, and her way of playing with other dogs is jumping, running, and play biting.` She knows Sit, Down, Come, Stay and Shake. What a smart girl! She did have accidents when left alone for long hours. She likely will need some additional training. At the shelter, Bonnie can be a bit shy at first. She is also shy in dog play groups so far. Like all our adult dogs, Bonnie will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. At the main campus, you can bring your dog along when you come for adoptions if you like. Bonnie is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bonnie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
