My story

Gunner is a 10.5-year-old, 72.8-pound American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a gentle heart and just the right amount of spunk! He may have some silver in his fur, but don’t let that fool you—this sweet old man still enjoys running in the yard, playing, and soaking up all the good vibes life has to offer.He’s crate-savvy, seems to be housetrained, and walks nicely on a leash. Gunner is easygoing around other dogs and doesn`t seem fazed by the hustle and bustle of shelter life. He’s a big fan of treats, enjoys a good booty scratch, and is always happy to hang out and just be near his people.Gunner is looking for a soft place to land and a home where he can enjoy the simple things: snacks, sunshine, and a comfy spot to nap. He’s a sweet, steady companion with a playful side and a heart full of good energy.Come meet Gunner—you might just find your new favorite friend.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
