My story

Meet Cinnamon, she is a lovely 6-year-old female cat with a calm, gentle spirit. Cinnamon is a sensitive and sweet cat who’s been feeling quite nervous during her time at the shelter. She’ll do best with an adopter who can offer her a quiet, single-room setup to start. Building trust with Cinnamon takes time—she responds best to gentle encouragement through toys and tasty treats, rather than physical touch at first.Her new family should be patient, allowing a few weeks for her to feel safe and begin to bond. If there are children in the home, they’ll need to be calm, respectful, and able to follow instructions to give Cinnamon the space she needs. We’re not sure how Cinnamon feels about other cats, so if adopters have feline friends at home, a slow and careful introduction is key. She may also be able to live with a calm, respectful dog, as long as she has safe spaces where she can retreat and relax.Cinnamon enjoys quiet moments and has a low activity level, making her an ideal companion for a relaxed home. She loves playing gently with toy mice and lounging in cozy spots where she can watch the world go by.
