My story

Good golly Miss Molly! ‘From the early, early morning till the early, early night?’ this gentle, well-mannered four-year-old Pit mix is hoping to sashay out of the shelter and into her forever home. Though deaf, Molly is still able to communicate effectively, easily getting her point across…namely, “less talk, more walk!” In hearing, as in most other things, dogs are very adaptive and good at compensating. Remaining engaged and attuned to her surroundings, her other senses prevail, allowing her to enjoy every experience. Appreciating treats, toys, and ear scratches, she readily responds with a wagging tail and a soft woof of approval. Displaying an unsinkable optimism and ‘pawsitive’ attitude, she knows she has a lot to offer, given the chance.
