Marmie

My story

Marmie is warm, wise, and composed. She may take a little while to warm up to you, but once she does she's all-in. She is a very calm kitty who purrs at pets and scritches behind the ears. She loves to find a cool spot to lie on the floor and just be at peace. She is a very caring young mom and has done a fantastic job taking care of her kittens. She is happy to be handled by people including small children, but is extremely wary of dogs. She likes to go out at night and watch the world from the shadows of bushes. Born 5/19/2023 Marmie was a stray spotted wandering in the neighborhood. She was discovered by a neighbor after giving birth to a litter of kittens under his lawnmower. Very cautious of people at first, given some distance and a can of tuna and she was convinced that humans were alright and immediately became affectionate and trusting. She is a very caring mother, and was able to recover a kitten who had been lost for four days. This cat has not been neutered yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take her home with you, and we pay for and arrange for neuter later.
