Meet Leo – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Leo is a sweet, calm, soft-hearted, 3-year-old ginger tabby rescued in downtown Stamford during a bitterly cold spell this past winter. He’s spent the past few months in a loving foster home, slowly learning that he is safe and people can be kind. Leo is still finding his confidence in new situations, but his gentle nature always shines through. He needs and thrives on human companionship and affection, melting under a calm, reassuring touch. His purr is loud, frequent, and grateful—a true reward for anyone lucky enough to gain his trust. He would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home with a kindhearted adopter who understands that love and patience go a long way. He just needs a little time and understanding to show his whole heart. In the ideal home, he would be the only pet so that he can relax and blossom without competition or stress. However, he might be open to a gentle, calm, non-aggressive cat.
