My story

Say hello to Fiona, a stunning sweetheart who recently arrived at our rescue and is already stealing hearts. With her soulful eyes and soft, calming presence, Fiona is one of those cats who instantly makes a space feel warmer. Fiona is FIV positive, which simply means she has a slightly weakened immune system — but don’t let that scare you! FIV+ cats can live long, happy, healthy lives, and they have just as much love to give as any other cat. In fact, Fiona might have even more love to give — because she’s making up for lost time. Since she’s still new here, we’re getting to know her day by day. So far, Fiona has shown us she's incredibly gentle, affectionate, and loves quiet companionship. She enjoys soft pets, cozy blankets, and the occasional sunbeam nap. We can already tell she’s going to be someone’s perfect lap cat. Fiona may do best as an only cat or with another mellow, friendly feline (especially if they’re also FIV+). Right now, she’s adjusting to her new surroundings and taking it all in at her own pace — and we’re giving her all the time and love she needs to feel safe and comfortable.
