My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue SHY BUT SWEET Meow! My name is Savvy. My estimated date of birth is 3/23/2022. I recently came to the Kitty Corner and I'm feeling a little defeated right now... For almost 3 years, I had a home of my own with a family who loved me very much. I was a very loving and affectionate cat. Unfortunately, I unexpectedly had to come to rescue--at no fault of my own--and I'm feeling very stressed. I am nervous and defensive. Now, I desperately need to find a home where I can build a strong bond with my special person. I am slowly coming out of my shell in rescue, but I will only flourish in a home of my own. I need a calm home where I will be allowed to adapt slowly and build trust. I am very quiet. There is a lot of love inside me, all I need is a family to give me a chance to show it! I am do not have experience with other cats. I have not been temperament tested with other cats at the rescue yet, but I will be soon! I have never been around dogs. At this time, I would do best in a home without children. I am at the Kitty Corner, come and meet me!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
