KITTEN IRIS

My story

The name Iris has Greek origins, meaning rainbow.  Iris was the goddess of the rainbow and a messenger of the gods.  OR, perhaps when you hear the name Iris, you immediately think of the beautiful, showy, six-lobed flower.  It appears quite fragile and somewhat mysterious.  Well, this little four-legged bloom is quite showy.  She is constantly on the go!  Watch out, here she comes!  This Iris is far from being fragile.  She just loves to chase her sister around the room.  Those two can wrestle each other for hours.    Iris is somewhat mysterious, and keeps a little distance at first, but once I am settled in the kitty room, you can find Iris rubbing my legs or playing with my toes.  And she really loves playing with the rainbow snake on the wand.  She jumps straight up, to the clouds!    Born around mid-January, this Iris was a small bulb, but she has certainly grown into a beautiful, little flower that will brighten your day, every day.  She has the most adorable round face, with those inquisitive green eyes.  What glorious white fur she has, highlighted with an adorable rainbow stripe….well, no….an adorable grey stripe on the top of her head.  This is one flower you will want to nurture, shower with love, and enjoy all year round.  Goddess Iris has been depicted as traveling on the rainbow, bridging Heaven and Earth, delivering messages.  You will be in Heaven, here on Earth, with this little love, as the message she brings is pure joy.  Meow!   Please email critter cavalry rescue for an application at  ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   please let us know where you live, city and state.May 25, 2025, 8:57 pm
