My story

Meet Cloud! When Cloud's owner passed away, he left behind a large group of pets - including 10 dogs - in need of new homes. Four of the dogs were adopted from the shelter, and we welcomed Cloud and the five other remaining dogs as Frosted Faces. Cloud is 8 years old and weighs 80 lbs. On the day he arrived, a wonderful former FFF adopter—who previously gave a loving home to a senior husky—stepped up to foster him. How amazing is that? We’re excited to get to know this handsome boy better as he settles into the comfort and care of his foster home. His foster dad shared this first update: "After a week and a half Cloud is doing well. He is still cautious and a little unsure of things but we get lots of happy tail wags. Cloud is very quiet, but we have heard a few husky woo-woos. He hears fine, but in true husky fashion, he doesn't respond to his name or any commands. The day I brought Cloud home, poor guy was so stressed he refused treats, even a piece of hotdog. After a night of sleep he perked up a little. A good bath really helped him feel better - he was so dirty the water turned brown. A trip to Canine Corners dog park showed Cloud is a good boy who is well-mannered even around the craziest of huskies." Stay tuned for the next update!
