My story

Hey there! I'm Trooper, the tiny but mighty pup, with a big personality packed into a small frame! 🐾 I was just chillin' on the side of the road in Klickitat County, taking in the sights and sounds, with my BFF Penelope by my side, waiting for our forever humans to come rescue us (thanks, awesome couple, you're the best!). We were quite the duo, Penelope and I, and I'm so grateful to have had her companionship during our adventure. Now, I'm living my best life with these fabulous volunteers who are getting to know me and my awesomeness, and let me tell you, they're discovering that I'm a total charmer! 😊 They're showering me with love, attention, and treats, and I'm soaking it all up like a sponge. Oh, and don't worry, they've got my back (and my neutering and dental needs 😂) covered before I find my furever home, so I can focus on being my adorable self. I'm a snugglebug at heart, always on the lookout for a cozy couch to call my own, and some adventure buddies to explore with, whether that's going on long walks, playing fetch, or just cuddling up for movie nights. Stay tuned for more updates from the volunteers - it's gonna be a wild ride, full of twists and turns, and I'm excited to see what the future holds! 🐾💕
