My story

Meet Allison! Allison was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program after her elderly mom moved into assisted living. She is 9 years old and weighs 17 lbs. Allison was her mom's beloved companion, and they were inseparable from the time that she was adopted as a puppy. Allison loves to play fetch! She doesn’t always catch the ball, but she sure tries hard! A volunteer scooped Allison up for a Frosted Field Trip, so we could learn what she is like in a home setting. Here's the scoop: "As soon as Allison got in my car, she turned her nose up at the dog bed on the passenger seat and passed out on the floor, snoring the whole way home. Allison was obviously a loved companion. She is friendly and relaxed. She is a velcro dog and follows us around the house. Allison is friendly with other dogs who respect her space. She is also fine with my kids (9 and 3 years old). Allison seems to be potty trained. She slept at the foot of our bed for 8 hours solid. She lives for fetch and loves toys!"
