My story

A volunteer writes:Hart is a handsome ten month old kitty brought to us with friends Lucerne and Bern as their owner lost their home. The trio is a bit on the shy side but Hart is always in plain sight, resting peacefully in the middle of his living room. He welcomes treats and petting in a very poised way but bring a feather wand and he will spring into action(see his photos and video)...Hart is a very good looking youngster(so are his housemates) whose past is kind of a mystery. The shelter wears a bit heavy on him but his playful side shows me that with a loving family, he will get back right on track. Come and meet Hart very soon at the Manhattan Care Center.What my friends at ACC say about me:I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I'm sensitive and shy.
