My story

Darling Joe is a 22lb, 8yr old boy that would live to finally have a forever home if his own. He has been moved around in numerous homes throughout his life so he is very timid. He is very sweet but gets scared easily so he must be in a calm environment. An adult only home with one or two people is best. He is extremely food motivated so he will warm up quickly to a new person and then after about 5 days he’ll show you what a playful, silly boy he really is. He is ok on a leash but would prefer to stay home in his own fenced yard. He is also very loyal and affectionate with his person. Joe is fully house and crate trained so he can stay home alone for a reasonable amount of time. He gets along ok with small dogs and cats, although he’s happiest when he’s the only dog. He’s afraid of big dogs and small children. Visiting grandchildren will be fine.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Joe, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
