Meet Smolder, a 6-year-old heartthrob with a name as cool as his personality! Found as a stray, we may not know much about his past, but one thing’s certain—Smolder is more than ready to leave shelter life behind and head into his forever home. This friendly guy is still settling in, so we’re continuing to learn more about his likes, quirks, and favorite treats—but he’s already showing signs of being the best companion. Smolder is doing a great job at keeping his kennel clean, which means he is likely housetrained or would be very easy to train. Whether you`re looking for a laid-back buddy or a best friend for everyday adventures, Smolder is ready to join you. Feel free to bring your pup along when you come to meet him!Smolder was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, `Smolder was the perfect boy! He walks great on a leash with no pulling, rides in the car like a champ, and takes treats so gently! He just really wanted to snuggle but he was a little stinky (don’t tell him!) so we started by taking a warm bubble bath. He loved it. He never tried to escape and leaned in for more neck scratches and back rubs. We went on three short walks and explored the fenced yard. But mostly he was a big lover boy. We laid on the couch and watched a movie. He couldn’t get close enough! Smolder was so gentle and sweet. He stole my heart! Oh, and he waited to be invited onto the furniture each time! I was so impressed with his manners.`Smolder is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready for his forever home!
