My story

Meet Rumble — a little dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Rumble is a young adult Shih Tzu, born in April 2022, who has overcome a rough beginning and is now ready to shower his forever family with love, laughter, and plenty of zoomies. Once abandoned and left to fend for himself on a trash heap, Rumble was rescued by Hart2Heart, and he’s never looked back. When he arrived, his fur was so severely matted that he needed a sedated shave down—but beneath it all was a shining, resilient spirit just waiting to shine. Today, Rumble is the definition of playful and affectionate. He adores playing catch in the yard, especially if tennis balls are involved—it’s his favorite game! A fenced-in backyard would be a dream come true for this spunky little guy, giving him space to chase, run, and burn off his joyful energy. Rumble is also a certified snuggle pro. After a good round of play, he’s happiest curling up next to his humans for a cozy nap. He’s crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and weighs in at a perfectly portable 18 pounds. He loves car rides, squeaky toys, and being part of the action with his foster family’s older children. Because Rumble can be a bit selective about his companions, he’s looking for a home without cats or other dogs. He’ll do best with kids aged 10 and up, who can respect his space while still enjoying his playful, loving nature.
