My story

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Jellybean Age: 2 years old (Born in 2023) Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Chihuahua Colour: Cream Weight: 4.5kg / 9lbs Feet to shoulder : 25cm   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Jellybean. I arrived at the local pound still wearing my little clothes and leash — as if someone was coming back for me. But no one ever did. Days passed, and I found myself on the euthanasia list simply because there wasn’t enough space. Just when it felt like all hope was lost, some amazing rescuers stepped in and gave me a second chance. Now I’m safe, and I’m ready to find a forever family who will never leave me behind.   MY HEALTH - Scheduled to receive Umbilical hernia surgery. - Otherwise, no known medical health issues and overall, in good health.   MY PERSONALITY Just like my name, I’m a sweet little bean who loves to socialize and soak up all the love and attention from people. I’m a cheerful little Chihuahua, full of life, charm, and endless tiny tail wags — always ready to bring a smile to your face. I may be small, but my heart is big, and I can’t wait to share it with a forever family who’s ready for all the love and snuggles I have to give.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS - With People:  I warm up to people quickly and love rubbing up against them to ask for affection — I’m the perfect little snuggle buddy! You can easily scoop me up, and I’ll happily settle in your arms. I haven’t met any kids just yet, but with my friendly and gentle nature, I’m sure I’ll do just fine with respectful, kind-hearted little ones who know how to give me space when I need it.   - With Dogs: I enjoy meeting new dog friends and will greet them politely, but I’m generally a bit indifferent and tend to keep to myself.   - With Cats:  I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, but I’m friendly by nature and believe I could learn to welcome them into my family — especially with slow, gentle introductions and plenty of patience.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I’ve got plenty of playful energy and love to zoom around and get my wiggles out before settling in. Once I’ve had my fun, I’m all about snuggling and relaxing at home — the perfect mix of lively and laid-back!   TRAINING & HABITS I walk fairly well on a leash, though I can get a little excited and pull when something catches my eye — but I focus well on my handler and respond to gentle guidance. I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs, which makes me an easygoing mealtime companion. Car rides can make me a bit nervous, so I feel safest when I’m being carried in your arms where I can feel comforted. I’m both indoor and outdoor potty trained, though I might do a little pee marking when I’m adjusting to new surroundings — I’m still learning! With a little patience and love, I settle in quickly and do my best to be a good boy.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help guide and let me become my best self. I’ll thrive in a home with: - A family who can provide me with a calm, structured, and safe environment. - A family who likes to do outdoors activities and spend time together. - A family who is willing to shower me with love and affection.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m ready to leave my past behind and start a fresh, happy chapter with a loving family. I’m a sweet, happy boy with a gentle heart and a face so cute, I know it’s hard to say no when I give a little whine to ask for something! I get along well with people and other dogs, but I’m definitely more of a people-pup—I just love being close to my humans. With my joyful spirit and loving nature, I can’t wait to bring lots of warmth and happiness to my forever home. ##2410256##
