My story

Charlie is a black and white male and might remind you of a pirate as his right eye has been removed.  His estimated birth date is 4/29/2021 and he came to us weighing about 10 lbs.  He was rescued by a very nice lady from a bad environment and was previously treated for an eye infection.  After a review of his medical records and in clinic inspection, our veterinarian team felt it would be best to completely remove the eye and any remaining infection so that a new owner would not have to deal with any eye issues when he is adopted.  He is getting along just fine with having vision in only one eye because he didn’t have vision in the removed eye at all.  He is friendly and active and will make a good companion possibly with one other cat or with human companions. He was microchipped before coming into StreetCats and he has a NanoTryFi microchip which the new owner will need to register (at no charge).  All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  StreetCats adoption fee - $75; if 65 years or older the adoption fee is $65.  StreetCats is located at 3105 S. Winston Ave. (one block west of 31st & Yale) in Tulsa.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.  All people wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats and have all members who live with them come in also.  We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area. Our website is www.streetcatstulsa.org and Facebook is www.facebook.com/streetcatsinc.May 24, 2025, 5:13 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Charlie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
