My story

Hey there! Zeus here, and I've got a tail-wagging story to share. Picture this: a dashingly handsome fellow with the regal bearing of a German Shepherd and the striking features of a Husky. That's me! At three years young, I'm in my prime and ready to find my perfect match. You know what makes my heart sing? Being around my humans. I'm that kind of dog who thinks he's a people – always wanting to be where the action is. Right now, I'm bunking with a lady dog friend, and we get along just fine. That's just how I roll – making friends wherever I go! Sure, I've got this whole "majestic" look going on with my thick, luxurious double coat. Think of me as a four-legged fashion model who needs a bit of pampering. A regular brush session or trips to the groomer will keep me looking runway-ready, and trust me, it's worth it! Plus, these grooming sessions can be our special bonding time. Now, I'll let you in on a secret – I might have had a fancy life before landing at the Yuma Humane Society. My impeccable house manners? They didn't come from nowhere! While we're on the subject of manners, I'll admit I get a little excited during walks when something interesting catches my eye. But hey, who doesn't get distracted by squirrels sometimes? Oh, and about my vocal talents? I'm generally the strong, silent type, but when those fire trucks go by and my kennel mates start their chorus? Well, let's just say I can't resist joining in for a verse or two! I'm great with people of all sizes, though given my enthusiasm and size, I might be better suited for families with older kids. Cats? Well, that's still a mystery we'll need to solve together. The boring (but important) stuff? I'm neutered, microchipped, and fully up-to-date on my vaccinations. I'm basically the complete package! Ready to meet your new best friend?
