All About Me Name: Lovey Age: 6 months old(Born November 2024) Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 9 kg / 20 lbs   Hello there! My name is Lovey. As far as I remember, I was captured by city workers when I was younger, and started living in Pyeongtaek city shelter. Since the city shelter can’t keep all the unclaimed dogs like me forever, they had to start putting us on the list of euthanasia. A warm-hearted rescuer heard this news and brought me out from the city shelter! And this is how I could have a second chance.   My Health - 3rd round vaccination : 2025. Oct.15   My Personality My name Lovey! Yes, it suits me just right. With my soft white coat and sweet little face, I’ve been told I look just like a cuddly stuffed animal. I’m still a puppy, but many people say I’m calmer than most of my age. I have a gentle, thoughtful nature, and I take in the world around me with big curious eyes and a wagging tail. At first, I can be a little shy around new people but offer me a treat and speak kindly, and you’ll see my tail start to wag as I warm up. Once I trust you, I’ll happily let you pick me up and hold me close. Every day, I grow more confident and affectionate, and it’s been amazing to discover how safe and loved I can feel with kind humans by my side.   Social Skills - With People: I take a moment to get comfortable, but I open up quickly especially if treats are involved! I haven’t met young kids yet, but I’m open-hearted and learning fast. - With Other Dogs: I love to meet other dogs, especially ones around my size or bigger! I’m a playful boy and always up for saying hello. I’m still figuring out how to play gently with smaller pups, so a home with patient furry siblings would be wonderful. - With Cats: I haven’t met a cat yet, so that part of my story is still unwritten!   On My Walks‍ I’m still learning about this big, exciting world outside. Sometimes when I see or hear something unfamiliar, I’ll crouch down and take a moment to feel safe again but I’m brave and curious, and I know with a little practice and encouragement, I’ll become a confident walker. I’m eager to explore the world at my own pace, one pawstep at a time.   Life at Home I’m a quiet, observant little guy with a calm side, especially for a puppy. I know how to settle in a kennel and ride quietly in the car. I use indoor pee pads but also do my business outside, so I’m flexible and already learning good habits!If I want something like your attention or a tasty snack, I may let out a little bark to let you know. I don’t guard my food and love sharing space with others. When I’m home, I love watching what everyone is up to, playing gently, or curling up for a rest. I'm at the perfect age to grow into the routine of a loving home.   My Ideal Home I’m looking for a kind and patient family who sees the gentle heart behind my puppy eyes.
