Heather is currently learning the ropes of leash walking, and she’s making great progress every day. With a little patience and a lot of love, she’ll be your favorite walking buddy in no time. She also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her a great fit for a home with canine companions. What Heather wants most is kindness, comfort, and connection. She’s not high-maintenance—just a tender soul who’s ready to bond deeply with someone special. Once she trusts you, her affection and loyalty are endless. If you’re looking for a compassionate companion with a soft spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Heather is waiting to meet you. Come see the sweet girl behind those soulful eyes—you’ll be glad you did. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
