My story

Augie is a remarkably happy-go-lucky 60-pound dog who loves the simple things in life, like back scratches and lap time! He recently charmed shopper`s at a busy farmer’s market with his calm, confident presence and sweet check-ins with his volunteer buddies. We’re not sure about Augie’s breed, but he has a few lovable cattle dog-like quirks, like gently leaning against your legs when you pause and always keeping an eye on what’s going on around him. And if you find just the right spot on his back? He’ll melt into a puddle of pure happiness.Whether he’s walking nicely on leash, politely wagging at other dogs (to see how he does with yours, bring them in for a meet and greet!), or trying to sneak into your lap for a snuggle, Augie’s affectionate nature shines through in everything he does. He’s the kind of dog who thrives on connection and would love a home where he can be close to his people.
