My story

My adoption fee has been fully sponsored.Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!I am an extra-large, handsome boy. My previous owner surrendered me because I was not getting along with another dog in the home. They also reported that I was experiencing some anxiety and feeling a bit overprotective of my humans. I also become very attached to my humans so I`ll need someone willing to work with me on how to occupy myself and redirect some of my anxiety. I have done well around other pets in some situations - but, due to my size, I`ll need people to be very careful about those introductions and work with me. I did not do well with cats in one of my foster homes. I know I can thrive in the right home and in the right environment, but it will take patience and training. I`m worth the hard work and I deserve a chance at a wonderful life with people who love me. Thank you for considering me!INSIGHTS FROM MY FOSTER:`Thor is such a loving and goofy boy! He stayed with us for a week and got along really well with our senior German Shepherd Dog mix. He gets a little excited when it’s time to get leashed for walks, but doesn’t pull on walks and did not react to other dogs. He knows basic commands but would benefit by having someone committed to continue his training so that he has the best doggie manners even when excited. He is completely house trained and well behaved indoors. Thor is a big hunk of love but should be in a home without cats or other small animals.`

If you have any questions or would like to adopt THOR, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
