My story

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING!   HI FRIENDS!!! I’m Aurelio!! I’m a 6-month-old American Staffordshire terrier pup, and I’ve already been through A LOT in my short life. In previous chapter of my life I accidentally ate something bad (cocaine), which caused seizures and left me with some neurological issues — I’m now hard of hearing and mostly blind, but don’t worry, I can see a bit from my right eye! Even though life gave me a rough start, now I’m here at Mercy Full Project and living every day with a wagging tail and a heart full of love I loooove snuggles, chew bones, backyard zoomies, and cuddling my stuffed dog at bedtime I walk really well on a leash, sleep through the night, and am about 85% potty trained! Not bad for a pup like me, huh? I do need a bit of help learning not to nibble on humans (especially kids — they get me SO EXCITED), and I’m still figuring out shoes are not toys but with some love, patience, and chewy toys, I’ll get there! My dream home? A big loving family with older kids and a fenced yard where I can run, play, and feel safe I may need a little extra guidance, but I promise I will give you a whole lot of love in return. I don’t let my disability slow me down — I’ve learned to live life fully and I bring so much joy wherever I go A word from my foster: “Aurelio has had a difficult past, but he still has a big love of humans and loves everyone he meets. Adoption FEE: $300 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
