PLEASE READ ALL NOTES BELOW THE ANIMAL PROFILE! Hi my name is Shep and for a senior guy like me at 15 years old I'm still got my puppy charm. I'm looking for the most comfiest couch or bed with someone who can spoil me and give me a loving home for the rest of my life! I'm a sweetie and I know that someone out there is ready to shower me with love and care. Can that be you? From Shep: Hey there! My name is Shep, and I’m a 15-year-old Sharpei mix looking for a calm and loving forever home. After a tough start in life, I’ve come a long way and I’m now ready to find the family who will let me relax and live my best life. I’m a chill, laid-back guy who loves to sleep on the couch and enjoy the comfort of blankets (especially when they’re perfectly folded). I’m a little shy at first, but with patience, I open up and enjoy some love. I’m also vocal—I’ll let you know how I feel, especially when food is involved. I’m a bit of a moody guy sometimes, and I can be a little skittish, so I’ll need someone who understands my space and can help me continue to grow. I do well with other calm dogs, but I’m not a fan of kids, so I’d love a quiet, calm home without little ones running around. I’m also looking for a home where I can get all the attention I deserve without feeling overwhelmed. My ideal home: A small family or individual who’s patient and loving. A home with other calm dogs, but no cats or kids. A fenced yard would be great, but I’d also do well in an apartment or townhome as long as it’s peaceful. A word from my foster: Shepy had a hard life and deserves a peaceful retirement in a home that will not give up on him.
