Delgato

My story

Delgato is a tiny, tender-hearted boy weighing just 11 pounds, and while his first impression may be one of nerves and hesitation, underneath it all is an incredibly sweet and affectionate soul. He’s a sensitive little guy who has clearly been through a lot, and he needs a patient, gentle person willing to move at his pace and let him come out of his shell on his own terms. Sudden movements or loud environments can frighten him, but with time, kindness, and consistency, Delgato begins to show his true nature—a loyal, loving companion who adores being close to his person. Once he feels safe, he’s happiest being carried in your arms or tucked beside you, melting into snuggles and soaking up the comfort of your presence. Delgato is the kind of dog who builds a deep bond with the one he trusts, and in the right calm, understanding home, he’ll blossom into a devoted little shadow, bringing quiet joy and warmth to every day.
