Meet Rusty, a high-energy, loveable Cattle Dog who’s bursting with personality and charm.Rusty recently had a Doggie Day Out, and he made quite the impression! He was a total people-pup, asking for pets from every human he passed – even while riding in the car. He met a couple of kids (ages 5 and 7) and was polite and treat-motivated with them, though his kid experience is pretty limited overall.This guy is smart, confident, and curious – maybe a little too smart! He somehow managed to unbuckle his seatbelt…and then his person’s, too. He’s always observing, listening, and ready for action. If you’ve got an active lifestyle, Rusty is ready to keep up – and probably try to lead the way.Rusty is also what we’d lovingly call a “mouthy” boy. He loves to chew – toys, leashes, maybe even the occasional pup cup (including the cup). He knows to be gentle with hands and fingers, but his excited nibbling and leash-munching might be a bit much for those unfamiliar with Cattle Dog antics. We like to think of him as a curious baby shark…with a heart of gold.Despite his enthusiasm, Rusty was a gentleman in public – he explored Home Depot, Total Wine, Strapping, and even the car wash with no messes and good leash manners.
