My story

Meet Mercy – A Loving Momma Ready for Her Forever Home! Mercy is a beautiful and resilient girl who came to us from MCACC, pregnant and heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list simply for carrying her babies. She was rescued just in time and safely gave birth in foster care. Now that her puppies are weaned and thriving, it’s Mercy’s turn to find the forever home she’s always deserved. Mercy is wonderful with people and kids—she’s currently being fostered in a home with three children ranging from ages 3 to 15. She’s also living with three dogs of all sizes and even a cat. While she does great with calm, older dogs (her best friend is a 3-year-old mini poodle!), she can get overwhelmed by hyper, high-energy, puppy-like dogs. Mercy truly prefers the company of humans and would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention or with another mellow dog companion. This sweet girl is fully potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained—she’s the full package! Mercy is available for foster-to-adopt as she’s not quite ready to be spayed yet, but she’s more than ready to become someone’s loyal best friend.
