My story

Hi, my name is Louisa! I’m a sleek little black kitten with a playful streak and a heart that’s learning to trust.When my brothers and I first came to our foster home, we were very scared—we hadn’t been around kind people before, and everything felt overwhelming. But over the past couple of months, I’ve learned that people, cats, and even big dogs can be pretty wonderful. I’m still cautious, and I like things to happen on my terms—I’ll let you pick me up when I’m ready, and once I feel safe, I’ll happily be part of your world.I have a silly, mischievous side too. I love to sneak up on my brothers and pounce when they least expect it. I’m also an excellent little hunter—I’ll chase flies around the house with determination and sometimes even catch them.I’m looking for a calm and patient family who will give me the time I need to settle in. With love and understanding, I know I’ll blossom into the sweet and playful companion I’m meant to be. Could you be the one to give me my forever home?My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5.
