My story

Hi, my name is Diego! I’m a sleek black kitten with striking yellow-green eyes and a tiny white spot on my chest—like I’m always dressed up with a little tie.When I first arrived at my foster home, everything felt big and scary. But over time, I’ve learned that people, cats, and even big dogs aren’t so scary after all! I’m still a cautious boy, though, so I’ll need a family who understands that I might take a little time to warm up. If I get startled, I sometimes use my claws without meaning to—but really, I just need patience and gentle reassurance.Once I feel safe, you’ll see my playful side shine. I love chasing fuzzy mice and fuzzy worms, especially ones I can carry around like my own little treasures. One of my favorite pastimes is sitting quietly in a chair, watching the fish swim in the aquarium—it’s like my own personal TV! If you’re looking for a sweet, thoughtful kitten who just needs a little extra patience to blossom, I think we could be perfect for each other. Give me a chance, and I promise to reward you with love.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5.
