Sandy

My story

Sandy is a female, shepherd mix who is approximately 1.5 years old and weighs 38 pounds.  She gets along well with other dogs and can be tested with children and/or cats upon request.  She is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on vaccinations and on preventatives (flea/tick/heartworm).  Sandy first came to our rescue partner as a heartworm positive dog, but she has completed her heartworm treatment.  She had been previously dumped (along with her puppies) on someones property.  Luckily that person took her and her puppies in and cared for them until they were all old enough to be adopted. She is pretty small for a shep mix and she walks really well on a leash.  She is also housetrained.  She loves to sit with people.  She is currently in TX with a rescue partner but will be transported to NJ area if an adopter or foster is found. Personality: friendly, loving, sweet, likes to sit with you Good with: people, and dogs.  Has not been cat tested yet.
