My story

Little Miss Mookie is sneaking in under the cover of night (or blanket) to steal your heart! This stellar senior came into the shelter when her owner was unable to care for her and the many other cats in the home. Despite her previous living conditions, Mookie has been opening her heart to staff and will put her paws on the chests of her caretakers to lick and nibble on their chins. Mookie gets startled by general shelter noise at times and runs in and out of her safe space, a nice hide bed, but she always comes back for more head butts while kneading and purring away. We warn you that Mookie seems to be a bit of a happy drooler, so your lap may not come out fully unscathed should she choose to warm it! You may notice her fluffy coat is a bit sparse due to a flea allergy, but with a mellow home and TLC, you'll have a lovable dust mop in no time.
