My story
This girl is outta this world! Astra is a 3-year-old, 46-pound German Shepherd mix. She came to our shelter as a stray and was unfortunately never claimed by her family. We believe she was previously in a home, as she knows `sit` and `shake.` She shakes her paw so enthusiastically that we think she must have lived a previous life as a politician! Astra is quite friendly and loves affection, but would do best in a home without young children under the age of 12. She has some charming sass, but doesn`t always like to be held or handled closely. This girl appreciates love on her own terms.Astra is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. You can visit her at The Babinski Foundation Animal Shelter Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
