My story

Meet Tyr – Smart, Active, and Ready to Roam!This young German Shepherd mix is full of heart and bursting with potential. Life in the kennel can be overwhelming for him—he’s a bit stressed and jumpy inside—but get him out into the yard, and you’ll start to see the real Tyr emerge: curious, intelligent, and eager to connect. Tyr already knows several commands, including sit, stay, leave it, and come, and he’s easy to leash at the gate. He loves exploring the yard, sniffing out hidden treats, and cooling off in the kiddie pool.Once he’s had a bit of exercise, he settles in and walks nicely on leash—happy just to be moving by your side. He’s currently underweight but is on a healthy feeding plan with three meals a day to help him gain weight and feel his best. Because of his energy and enthusiasm, Tyr would do best in a home with children over 14 and would thrive with an active person who enjoys walks, hikes, or runs. A meet-and-greet is recommended for any resident dogs to ensure a good match. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion to share your adventures, Tyr is ready to hit the trail with you! ??
