My story

**Meet Chico!** Chico isn’t just a dog — he’s a whole *personality.* Full of charm, goofiness, and love, this big baby will steal your heart with one look and a nod of his head (seriously — he knows the cue “Wassup” and will give you a smooth little head tilt in response). Chico feels things *deeply* and loves *big.* Whether he’s riding in the car with his head proudly out the window (barking at anything that catches his eye) or curling up in his crate during a storm when scared, he’s always unapologetically himself. Potty pad trained and fluent in several cues — including “sit,” “go potty,” “paw,” “come,” and his favorite: a calming countdown from five — Chico is as smart as he is sweet. His is a nervous of the mop and vacuum and will chase them both. Chico has a great history with other dogs and kids, but because he doesn’t quite know his size and tends to jump with excitement, older children are the best match for his exuberant love. He doesn’t mind being picked up (he actually likes it) and is a champ when it comes to bath time — especially if treats are involved. He’ll stand like a pro for the first ten minutes before deciding he’s done his part and it’s time to escape. Nail trims at PetSmart? No problem. When it comes to meeting new people, Chico can be a little cautious at first, but once he knows he’s safe, you’ll have a loyal shadow for life. If you're looking for a dog with heart, humor, and heaps of personality, Chico is ready to meet you. Bring treats and your best “Wassup” — he’ll handle the rest. 🐾💛
