My story

Max is a stunning 2-year-old German Shepherd with a loving heart and a need for a patient, understanding home. He’s searching for someone who can help him build his confidence and guide him with kindness as he navigates the world. Max embodies the loyal and intelligent nature of his breed and would thrive with someone familiar with the needs of a Shepherd. With the right person by his side, Max is sure to blossom into the incredible companion he’s meant to be.Max currently weighs 85 pounds. *Max is awaiting his neuter surgery. He will have to remain at HSCC until the surgery is complete.*If you are interested in meeting Max, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!
