Poseidon

My story

A27886 Poseidon is a grey and white colored, approximately 5-year-old, 67-pound, neutered male, Pitbull. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 05-17-2025 due to the fact he is moving and cannot bring a dog. Poseidon is a friendly, eager and excited boy here at the shelter. He is excited to see you at his kennel and ready to go out for a walk. Our staff says he is sweet and cuddly and loves everyone and the attention and affection you give him. He was easy to leash but pulls in excitement as if he was on a mission to see and smell everything. We would recommend a harness as he will choke himself to keep going. He has had some training and will “sit” and “down” upon command, but it took a treat and affection to get him going. The previous owner says he is house broken, and he has lived with children, but no other pets. He does not pay any attention to other dogs in or out of his kennel here. Poseidon will be a fun-loving companion in his new forever home.
