Jorkin arrived at the shelter on May 15, 2025, as a stray—nervous, unsure, eyes scanning every face like a detective piecing together a puzzle. He’s shy, yes. But don’t mistake that for weakness. Jorkin is trying hard to be brave, and every day, he gets a little closer to the dog he’s meant to be. There are moments—fleeting ones—where the fear creeps in. He might bark, startled by something unfamiliar, unsure of your intent. But give him a little time, a little space, and a whole lot of love… and you’ll see the truth. He just wants to be understood. Once he trusts you, the change is unmistakable: the soft eyes, the gentle nudges, the quiet loyalty. He didn’t know what toys were. But treats? He understands those just fine. The way to his heart is paved with patience and milk bones.
